L-TracX Features
The L-TracX
is the first ever 3200 cpi laser trackball. Designed for modern
high definition displays for personal, business and gaming use,
the L-TracX has three buttons as standard, which can be expanded
out to five via the external button jacks. With a 1000hz polling
rate at 3200 cpi, precision and speed are no problem.

Selectable Resolutions
With the use of the
new laser navigation technology, the L-TracX can have a user
defined resolution from 800 to 3200 counts per inch. You can
select from 800, 1600, 2400 and 3200 cpi. Each of the four
stages will be selected on-the-fly with two button clicks.

Scrolling Wheel
With the scroll wheel
located at the tip of your finger, scrolling is easily controllable.
No matter if its long web pages, or selecting guns and spells,
the scroll wheel makes it easy. |

Ultra Smooth Rolling
It has been found that the "ruby ball sliders" used
in most optical trackballs, cause performance degradation
when "gunk" builds up on them. This can be annoying
when playing games on-line (or anytime). The L-TracX has "mirror
polished" stainless steel rollers which do not readily
collect "gunk" and are easily cleared by spinning
the ball rapidly.
Inside the L-TracX are three
stainless steel hubs attached by two Dupont™ Delrin™
bearings which are internally coated with a lifetime lubricant.
The stainless steel hubs go through a two-stage polish that
takes off all machined marks which make them feel ultra smooth.

Life testing indicates that this
unit may outlive most users. It, most probably, will be the last
pointing device you will ever need to buy.

Adaptable Buttons
Utilizing the two adaptable switch jacks will allow you to hook
up any 1/8th inch mono switch to expand out to 5 buttons. Extra
buttons allow you to place buttons in the location you want. |
Superior-X Button Control software
(included), allows the user to set different button settings on
any button, depending on the application. This allows control of
applications, such as media players, directly from the trackball
(volume control via scroll wheel, etc.), putting maximum control
at your fingertips. Superior-X also allows keystrokes to be recorded
and played back with the click of a button, allowing repetitive
application tasks to be completed quickly. This performance coupled
with the natural contour of the L-TracX, makes these trackballs
a must for all applications including general computing, gaming
and Computer Aided Design (CAD). CAD users love it because you can
drag a line one pixel even on today's high resolution displays of
1900X1080. Then, with a button stroke, they can fly around the screen
to get general tasks done. Game players have called it an "Almost
unfair advantage", citing the fingertip control and precision,
high performance tracking.
